Please join Wildwood Elementary in celebrating Red Ribbon Week 2018. This year, Wildwood Elementary will celebrate Red Ribbon Week October 22-26, 2018. During Red Ribbon Week, young people in communities across the nation pledge to live a drug-free lifestyle by wearing red ribbons and participating in school and community-wide anti-drug events. Red Ribbon Week raises awareness of drug use and the problem related to drugs facing our community and encourages students, parents, educators, and community organizations to promote drug-free lifestyles. Listed below are activities for our students to participate in during Red Ribbon Week. Red Ribbon Week Activities October 22 - 26, 2018 Theme: “These Paws Don’t Touch Drugs!!! Monday - 10/22/2018 “Red Ribbon Day” - Students will be given red ribbons to wear; Students will sign Red Ribbon Week Pledge during ancillary classes. Tuesday - 10/23/2018 “Drug and I Don’t Mix!!!” - Students wear crazy or mismatched socks to show they don’t mix with drugs. Wednesday - 10/24/2018 “Blackout Drugs!” - Students wear black shirts (uniform bottoms must be worn). Thursday - 10/25/2018 “Living Drug Free is NO SWEAT!” - Students wear School Spirit sweatshirts (uniform bottoms must be worn). **School Spirit Sweatshirts can be purchased in the front office** Friday - 10/26/2018 “Use Your Head, Wear Red!!!” - Students wear as much red as they can!!! Wear red shirts, socks, hair ribbons and bows and accessories (uniform bottoms must be worn)
